Go back
Shine, I shine with my inner energies
Breath what I please, feel what I feel
I arise in my sunlight, in my sunshine I intertwine
Face to Face with my fears shouting my highs and lows
My problems are mountains
Yet, I climb until my destiny is engulfed with finishing's
Steep, steep as steep can be
but bound, bound by my inner soul section
Complexity is in question
But, what questions bring me answers
Answers to my investments, my makings, my essence
Black man patronize, a strong black man I be
The trees, animals, flowers, and earth, them all is me
Me I see when I look into the mirror
Me I choose to guide when I walk my path of faith
Still blind, still puzzled, still I shine with my inner energies
Speak truth and still tell lies
Be blind and still see why
Why, why do I need what I need?
Why, why do I do what I do?
My questions from within
within my mind, heart and soul is where they begin
Sometimes I hear what I cannot see
See what I don't understand
Still, I breath what I please, feel what I feel
Still I shine
I shine with my inner energies
