The movie Scary Movie is a form of parody in modern society. This movie is made as a spoof on horror movies and depicts the modern scenes that are used in horror movies. Like how they spoof scenes when the killer is attacking the person and make funny scenes to show you what the killer was trying to do. This movie is an act if murder in the form of a comedy. A parody always spoofs something to make a laugh about it. Scary movie was made by Damon Wayans, and in the movie he acts as a killer and uses very funny scenes that will spoof the version of the horror if it were in the format of a real horror movie. In modern society the way that people make horror movies is depicted in a parody, and used to make someone laugh. The scenes are very funny, and yet still carry out the murder that is trying to occur and makes it very funny. Like how he calls the person he is trying to kill and is right behind the couch on their phone. This is a very funny scene and will make anyone laugh because, in a real scene the murder would occur by the killer being outside of the home calling the person to scare them and then he or she will attack and kill the person. It’s like ripping about something. In Living Color is another parody that is used that depicts modern society. Scenes like Fire Marshall Bill, where he makes scenes about a fire and always hurts himself and he needs to be helped, or scenes where they make fun of different stars in the movie theatre. Parodies will always depict modern society and are merely meant to make one laugh at what is going on, but still sticks to the actual script. Some modern parodies will make some mad and make some laugh, like Russel Simmons Def Comedy Jam, this is a parody that makes fun of everything in society even the people in the crowd, and usually they use a famous singer or movie start to depict what they are trying to get across to the audience, they even use musicians like Michael Jackson. This will always be used in modern society, and parodies are really famous in America this is why foreigners like them so much. A link to see this would be here
