The most important Networking Protocol is the TCP/IP protocol This protocol handles the end to end activity, that examines how each piece of information and data should be packeted. It also examines what the addresses are for the pieces of information, and the routes that the transmission uses for the information. That's why this protocol is so important , sorts all the related protocols by the networking that is involved with the protocols, and keeps up with all the information that is sent to each routed destination. This handles the host to host information and also, the application layer that processes the application data so without this protocol information wouldn't get transferred correctly.
