I think you should back up your Operating System and your PC because, when you need your files and settings to be reverted because of a virus, system crash, theft, and hard drive corruption, you will be able to fix it. Saving at least 2 or 3 backup discs with all your PC's information, will give your security in case something happens to your PC. Always think ahead when it comes to PC's, because you never know when you will have a corruption or crash. Backing up the PC will restore your PC in full. Ghosting can be another option to take if you want to copy the whole operating system. This will back up the OS in full and revert it to normal settings before the actual crash or virus etc. Pay close attention to your PC's actions, and you will know when it needs to be backed up or restored
