I chose the Buffalo River Ecological Restoration Master Plan, the reason why I chose this project is because, this river is located in NY and has been a big help to the city money wise like, it produced a river community and this community supports NY with another area for industrializing and river communities to chat and hang out, even people live in the river community. I say it is important to restore this ecosystem, because it supports wide life and fish dwell here. This ecosystem supports all human habitat and animal, so this plays a major role in the ecosystem life soured. By the industry oiling the river, decreasing the water levels and killing the habitat, the ecosystem is only getting worser. Restoring this will support humans and wide life also makes the river community a healthier place to dwell for human and animal along with fish.
The most important facts about this project is. 1
1. It represents an idea of the future.
2. It involves Economic Revitalization
3. The primary issues are the water being soiled and polluted.
4. It’s not a hard job.
5. It supports the community.
6. It will protect the water habitat of the Buffalo community.
7. It will eliminate uses that will affect the habitat. This will keep the river community healthy.
The reason why this ecosystem needs to be restored is because the habitat only has a water problem where the uses affect the habitat limiting the community with what they can do with this river. So restoring this eco-system will bring back the habitat like ducks, fish, turtles, and frogs. This will also make the community a better place to dwell and have fun. This will stop all uses of the river that affect it’s living habitat and the community. The restoration efforts haven’t been announced yet the project has just started. However, so far they know that the water is the problem effecting the habitat, by fixing this the area will become healthier and have lots of habit that will be protected.
Yes, I think it’s worth while because, these type of projects bring back jungles and places where lots of animals once lived until they were destroyed by ecosystem damage. Spending money to keep rebuilding these areas will save our wildlife and stop fish and all other habitats fro going extinct or being destroyed by some rich billionaire dropping waste in their ecosystem killing everything. Revitalizing this area will build future advancement and help to regain areas that can be used for human consumption health and welfare.
